Declaration of Respect for the Humans Rights

This statement aims to reinforce the commitment of the MoOngy Portugal Group and Bee Engineering to respect internationally recognized human rights in the development of their relationships with employees, clients and suppliers, seeking to avoid or mitigate adverse impacts, whether direct or indirect, arising from their activities.
This statement is in line with the values and principles of conduct enshrined in Bee Engineering’s Code of Conduct, namely those relating to compliance with legal, regulatory and conduct obligations, contribution to sustainable development, and non-discrimination, tolerance and equal treatment.
Bee Engineering undertakes to carry out its activities in compliance with the rules and in accordance with ethical and professional conduct standards, including:
- The International Bill of Human Rights (adopted by the UN);
- The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights;
- The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child;
- The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Women;
- The Core Labour Standards of the International Labour Organization;
- The 10 principles of the UN Global Compact.
Assuming the following commitments:
- To act in compliance with the legislation and regulations of the regions in which it operates;
- To ensure fair working conditions, with wages based on the principle of fair remuneration for work and guaranteeing the right to rest and leisure time;
- To provide equal opportunities in access to employment and professional promotion, without discrimination based on sex, race, religion, origin, marital status or social condition;
- To respect, promote and ensure decent working conditions and not tolerate acts of psychological violence or moral coercion;
- To ensure health and safety in the workplace;
- Not to employ child or forced labor, nor to condone such practices by third parties with whom it establishes relationships;
- To protect personal data;
- To regularly provide information and training on Human Rights and labor practices to its employees, partners and value chain – suppliers and clients.
